and looking at all the bikes, I still think the Street Bob looked the best.[:@] But anyway, the K&N is red colored again after using the rcharge kit, cleaner and oil, but I put the round cover on instead of the naked look. There was a lot of dirt came out, and bugs jammed into the pleats of the A/C, and I worry about water getting in..it still looks good I think. Also have put the Motherwell Gunslinger rack on,but it is coming off, looks like 'grandma's bike' with it on! Planning on doing the handlebar change this winter to some apes and will be getting the new blacked out V&H sideshot pipes in Feb '08 when they come out. Anyhow, that was part of my day..can't ride much in WA frekin' raining like crazy all week! How was your day?[sm=chattypair.gif]

 

sorry about the rain. in joliet is susposed to get to around 80 today. since im retired i will be on the bike. by the way, your ride looks good

 

Been raining here in NE most of the week. About 6" so far this month. 81* yesterday and got some good riding in. Will be 55 today and there bouts or less for rest of week so time to service the bike today.

 

Yo, guys, I just ordered new handlebars ( Buckhorn Mediums from Drag Specialties with 9" rise, 34" wide and 101/4 " pull back) and some Progressive 12" shocks, 412's black, should lower the rear about an inch. I am psyched ! Plan to do the installs myself, won't mind the rain so muchnow!I'll post some new pics as I begin the transformation, wish me luck!

 

It's funny how the rain can be expensive - instead of riding your installing new bits...Best of luck with the installs - post some pics when you get those black 412's on
