I'm looking to buy my first Harley, and I like the Super Glide.It's a little cramped for me, but seems easy enough to add forward controls and a Tallboy seat. I'm 6'3" with long legs, and I washoping to hear fromother tall Super Glide riders. Does it work for you, or are there better options?.

I'm 6'2", 34" inseam and love the fit of my Super Glide with mid controls and Sundowner seat.

6'4", 34" inseam here and forwards are a must and I have a tallboy or like the stock seat.

 

I'm 6'2" and getting up in age. The stock seat and mid controls really put the hurt on my legs.

Tall boy seat and forward controls to the rescue!

 

they also make the extended forward controls for taller riders

 

'07 Superglide.. Kuryakyn 2" extended forwards, stock seat-- 6" risers with drag bars. Skip the tallboy seat, go for something custom that drops you an inch.... You'll probably lower the bike anyway, just like everyone else.

This is me 'xactly like Joe, I was gonna put on forward controls but found hi-way pegs very comfy on long ride and like to change position time to time, SG is a good choice for us tall guys, IMO

 

I'm 6'5" and weigh in at 285 lbs. The Super Glide works for me after I made a few adjustments, like 4" over front forks, forward controls and mini -ape handle bars.

 

Ok soIm only 6' but sence knowone else has done it...You might want to try what I did,,,I got all three place's for my feet,I kept the mid,and put on forwards,then put on a crash bar with highways on the bars,,I got a post about swingarm bearings I just posted and have tryed to discribe my set-up...

 

Im 6'2" and have very poor arthritic hips, the bike I have is the FXDX still with stock seat and mid controls are a bit of a pain after 50 miles or so, but I have forwards on the way!
