Love my Mustang Vintage Solo (standard width) - very comfy on longer rides and still maintains a certain old school appearance, though clearly not the smallest nor lowest. More pics in gallery.

I have a Lepera Bare Bones seat arriving via UPS this morning for my 2006 Street Bob.
I'll take some photos later on so you can see how it would look on your same bike...

They're actually 2"x7"gaitors from a 1970 Triumph or BSA. I got them on Ebay. They just slide over the down tubes between the bottom triple clamp and the top of the sliders.

I had to make a bracket to attach it to the bike which was not very hard.

Based on what I read in this and several other threads on this topic, I ordered a Mustang Vintage Solo for my SB. It arrived today, and I couldn't be more pleased. Nicely made, perfect fit, reasonably priced and way more comfortable than the factory seat. It moves you back and up slightly, but that results in NO MORE LEG CRAMPS with the stock mid controls. And I love the way it looks.

I really dig the springer solo, but wasn't sure how comfortable it would be, and my welding skills suck. For me, the Vintage Solo was the next coolest thing. I haven't updated my sig picture with the new seat (and a couple other upgrades) yet, but I will soon.

I'm into comfort at 62 years old. The sig shows the Mustang narrow studded solo. I can ride it 8 - 10 hours a day and not be saddle sore. I think the LePera Barebones would probably look best on the bike, but no way am I going on a 2,000 mile ride on it.

Just had to say, I love my stock seat. Love the look. Plus, really comfortable. Odd for a stock seat, I know!
