I think the Linby MultiBar would look best of all the options out there. I see they off them in powercoat black now as well.

Anyone have a pic of the Multi Bar in black powder coat on a Street Bob.. or any bike..?

There was a thread a while back about the multibar, myself dont like bars on bikes but wanted to try one to see what it looked liked. In black it is'nt really noticable.
to me it looks like an extension of the frame. and dont look to bad, but still not to sure if i will leave it on yet......

here is my new engine gaurd it is a lindby bar. i went with the one for the wdg, so i could use my foward controls. jackyl

Someone wrote one time or I saw an ad "Because your baby looks better naked". This applies especially to Dynas...IMHO. Again the old trade off form-v-function.

I've seena lot of wrong things in my day , but "crash gaurds" just might be the wrongest....

but, I agree with punty, it's your bike, who the hell careswhat anyone else thinks. the whole point was to leave the herd wasn't it?

Good stuff in this thread, I've been wondering about engine guards for my future SB as well. I think the black powdercoated Lindby's may be the ticket in this case...I like subtlety, but also want them to be somewhat functional. Seems like most of you either went for the factory guards or the Lindbys...did anyone get theirs elsewhere?
