Default Rain Spots on Silver Engine

I have a 08' Superglide and this past Saturday I rode in a bike ralley and it was raining all day. It was still raining when I got home, so I rinsed the dirt offwith the water hose and parked it in the garage. The next day, I took it to the car wash and washed the bike, but I can not get the stains off the engine. I tried a couple of different cleaners and polishes, but none of them worked. Any ideas?

S1000 is one that will work. Dealer carries it. Rinse, Rinse, Rinse.

Yeah, I thought about the S100. Should I use the enginebrightner or the total cycle cleaner? The engine brightner says its for black engines?

Use the total cycle cleaner to clean the engine. The engine brightener just makes the black engines look less dull and more deep black looking, works great on all the black textured parts on my bike including the belt guard, tank console etc.. Never tried using it on a silver engine.

Put in a new engine? Sorry, couldn't help myself! I'm really bored right now.

Actually, that may be a viable solution for some. It will probably take less time to spray it down with S100, though.
Well, guess I better go back to bolting up the motor mounts on my new motor. Now, what's the best way to get the
grease marks off this new motor I just installed??
