Default Removing front exhaust bracket

Apologies if this tip has been previouly covered. Read backalong about the difficulty removing the front stock exhaust clamp plate. (the one thats screwed into the bottom of the engine above the frame). The problem being that 2 of the 3 torx screws are difficult to access because the frame gets it the way. I got over the problem by grinding flats onto the torx bit so that i could turn it with an open ended spanner (i used a 13mm). I used a flat wallpaper scrapeto apply upward pressure between the frame and the torx bit. After loosening the screws i turned them out with pliers/molegrips.It certainly looks better without the bracket with the V&H Shortshots. Hope this helps. LOL
