What matches Black Denim?
What rattle can paint matches black denim? I know this has come up before but so far I don't really see a solution.Rustoleum high heat which I have used before is too flat and fades too fast, I just sprayed my fender with Krylon satin and it's too shiny so what next? Should I go ahead drop $20 on Harleys "black denim" rattle can? I've heard that that doesn't match either.Any suggestions?

RE: What matches Black Denim?
Yea the back fender, I chopped it, sanded it smooth then shot it with a coat of Krylon "fusion" satin black, yes I know that's supposed to be for plastic but the instructions said it would work on metal and it did, it's just too shiny. So I'm off to Osh to look at some more Satin black paint.I was just hoping someone had used one that was a good match I don't want to spend so much on spray paint that I could have had it painted professionally for the same money.Notice if you look carefully at my signature pic you'll see that the fenders are a different color than my tank, that's Rustolem high heat.

when spray it also has a lot to do with application how wet you apply will contrtol to wet will be glossy to dry will be rough try practicing on a smaal piece of metal till you get desired effect with krylon. This paint will not hold up like factory finish may want to consider flat clear as well small teast piece will save you time and money. Did a freinds with Krylon and clear six months ago still looks good
