Default It's happened twice!

The bolt that mounts the shock to the right fender strut has broken twice. The first time it broke I replaced the stock bolt with a case-hardened bolt thinking that will do the trick. Well last week it happened again! The bolt has broken at the threads each time. I replaced my stock shocks with 11" progressive 412s. Would that have anything to do with it? It's easy to replace but an inconvenience not to mention for safety's sake very disconcerting when think what wouldhappen if it breaksat highway speeds.

check the angle from the back, is the top in farther than the bottom?? it shouldnt be doing that obviously but maybe there not in line so the binding is causing this?? maybe need a washer or two i know on my sporty i had to do this with my progressives.

what was original shock length you may need lowering blocks Top Bolt is now being stressed by shock angle
