Default badlander seat to touring seat will rub?

I have a street bob and put a badlander seat on it. The badlander seat isnt very comfortable for long trips and the passenger pillion is only 5" wide. I was gonna buy the touring seat to use during long trips and my question is will since the passenger pillion is so much wider will it rub my painyt because i was just gonna take it off when drivin around town?

Default RE: badlander seat to touring seat will rub?

Is there a seat specifically called "the touring seat"? The reason I ask is because I have used both the HD Sundowner and HD Tallboy seat on my FXDC and havehad no rubbing. However, mine came with a stock 2-up seat and, therefore, already had the stick-on "bumpers" on the fender below where the passenger seat goes. I assume you put those on yours for the badlander seat? If not, I'd recommend getting them. I've heard some say they put the bumpers on the bottom of the seat rather than on top of the fender so they can switch to the 1-up seat without the bumpers showing.
