As far as the mids being less comfortable; It may be the angle that my riding position has changed to and the fact I put the solo seat back on. I don't know for sure...but I can tell you this....My broke @ss wants to like them.

That looks sweet with the stock Superglide shocks.You could probably get a set of stock Street Bob or Lowrider shocks dirt cheap and drop it some more but you may run into clearance issues.
