Default Tire size 170/60R17

I'm planning to put this tire sizeon my 07 St.Bob, Do I still need the full tire kit or just change the tire, would it fit or rub the fender sometimes?170/60R17 comes standard on 08 SE Dyna.

No kit required. Thats what i'm running on mine. no problems. I got the metz z6 roadtec. Its a soft tire, tons of grip. Probably won't last long though. lol

I am on my 2nd 170/60R17 tire on my WG. First was a dunlop D220 which gripped great but only lasted 5k miles before the radial was showing. I now have a Metz ME880 on the front and rear, mileage is looking much better the grip is ok but not near as good as the D220.
Only thing with the swap is the overall dia. is changed so your speedometer will be off. I run a DTT TCFI so I was able to change the frequency to set it correct. Not sure what you are running and if a correction to the speedo frequency is possible. Even if you can't you will just think your going faster then you are oh and read more miles then you actually have on the bike.

What would you recommend in the 180s that have good grip, decent wear and are close to stock diameter to not throw the speedo off too much? Thanks.
