Today I saw a Bike comes past me in the opposite direction with running lights under the pegs (or near by). I looked pretty weird from a distance but at night might be a pretty good idea.

Anybody seen this before?

you know what, that might be a dam good place for them. i have a set i bought off ebay a few months agoand wasnt sure were to put them, if i was to install them at all. i might go out to the garage and just put them there to see, ill take a couple pics to show you. thanks for the idea jackyl

 

just ran garage and checked, they will fit. but the problem is, i have my pegson a slight angel towards me for comfort. you would have to move your pegs straight for the lights to be angled right, not comfortable at all for me. but i have the harley aux lights for the highway bar, they only pivet up and down. if youhad some round bullet style aux. lights that you could pivet in all direction, then that would be a great spot. ill take some pics tomorrow, because pics in my garage at night are garbage. jackyl

 

if you put them under the pegs youll scrap em off

 

i was talking about putting them on my crash gaurd highway pegs, not my foward or mid pegs.

 

I saw a guy with two sets of the HD fog lights on his crash bar. One set was above the bar like mine and the other below. Also like mine, all the wiring was internal. He said he just wired the second set to in parallel with the other set. To me, it was overkill, but when we rolled out that night you could sure see him coming.

 

I ran a set that I got from AutoZone on my 06 Robert. Used the bottom thru bolt on my highway pegs and ran the wires up both downtubes. Had them wired directly into my low beams, but put a mini rocker on the dash panel cuz I didn't want them on all the time. AutoZone had a pair of gloss black lamps for $40. WORKS GREAT and they can definitely see me now. Iv'e had a ton of people ask me to do theirs. BTW, they been there for 3 months and not a scrape or scratch.
