I found, after 30 years of marriage. You don't need your wifes permission before the dealer will sell you a bike.

I've learned that the more work I do the more tools I buy. That was a expense that I under estimated.

1. My garage floor has an invisible black hole/bolt & nuteating vortex that leads to another dimension
[sm=laughingsmilie.gif][sm=laughingsmilie.gif][sm=laughingsmilie.gif] I think they install those things in most garages and shops.

The Dyna shake makes it a bad idea to leave gloves (or anything else) on the seat while your bike idles, and hot pipes burn holes in stuff in a big hurry.

I think they are dealer installed at their discretion while on showroom. If there is on your bike, it should be dangling down around your battery box, or maybe on the fuse box side, maybe zip-tied to the frame, and should be an SAE trailer type 2-pin plug, something like that. If you can't find it easily, take your battery cover off (1 philips) and if there is a black and red pigtail attached to the battery terminals you have a tender (not talking about the ignition and ground cables). You shouldn't have to take battery cover off though, it should be obvious if there is a pigtail attached. Take a good look with a flashlight. If its there, you'll see it. Hope this helps.

it seems good old dino juice works best in quieting up valve noise emmiting from the engine ( over, say, synthetic)

I've learned that the rear spokes cannot be cleaned unless you have the hands and arms of a small monkey.

If learned that if you wear a full face... you better have breath mints on you.

I learned only recently that I have a 6th gear indicator. WhoTF looks down at those speeds?

I learned that no one will give you a straight answer on when a FI V-Twin is running correctly.

I learned that HD does not understand the word DISCOUNT. On anything.

I learned that I have no consience when it comes to HD employees buying stuff at one of my car dealerships. If you have ever worked for HD... even for one day in HS, you pay FULL LIST PLUS for everything. ALWAYS. Forever.

I learned that having the bike you really always wanted is not expensive... it's priceless.
