Switch your axle around end for end then you aint gotta dick with your exhaust to pull the rear tire.

I have learned that this forum provides GREAT information! I have learned about tires, shocks, diagnostic codes, and lubricants just to name a few. I now know enough about my ride to make me dangerous (really dangerous in most cases). However, I do know enough now to not take everything the Harley techs say as the absolute truth.

you wont be turning the rear axle around with the stock header pipes and slip ons with a 06 dyna.it runs right into the mufflers turned around grrr

HD stands for "Hundred Dollars". Whenever I go to a bike shop, it seems I always spend a hundred dollars.

The whole point of turning the axle around is so that you only have to take the exhaust off once and next time it slides out the other side. Makes things a bit easier...[8D]

A small greased O-Ring placed on the brake lever pivot pin between the brake lever and the lever housing keeps the lever from rattling.

that is true annibus but you cant do it with the 06 dynas the axle are longer then the old dynas

^^ That is GREAT! That dang lever rattle annoys the **** out of me [:@]

The only thing I learned from my bike so far is that I have had a whole hell of a lot more fun than had I bought my new truck this year!
