Just slowlypealed off the 4 rubber bumpers on the fender, cleaned really good the 4 spots where they hit on the 2-up seat & re-stuck them on the 2-up seat. The adhesive that's on them is really sticky stuff & I don't think you'd ever have to use another adhesive on them...they look like they're not going anywhere underneath the 2-up seat!

 

Looks good, Dynas are the best looking solo bike.

 

As someone has already figured out, the adhesive is very good and sticks to the seat well. i have a pelion seat that I use for two up and the hole in the fender for two up gets a Harley thumbscrew with a bib over the fender when going solo.
Some may not like it but it works for me.

It's amazing how a simple seat swap can make a bike look so different. Bike looks good.

 

does the brawler change your seating position further up or further back?

 

Very nice. Does look like a different bike. It is amazing what a $300 investment can do to change the look of a $15K bike.

 

Hey FXDC Rider, again don't want to break this thread, but happened to notice you have also changed the fork sliders for chromed ones... I also have purchased them, but hate to think about the mess I make in my garage and don't even know if I have the right tools. Was it easy to replace or didyou do it at the dealers?

Since my female partner does not like riding bikes, I guess I will end up doing the same with the seat. Great looking Dyna you have.

I'd say it moves you up just a hair because that back "lip" on the brawler is so sharply defined. I'm 6' & in a comfortable riding position on it the very top of my butt crack sits just to the very top of that back lip. However, this new seat is a new feeling for me & just got to get used to it & break the seat in a bit. I absolutely love the seat, both for the way it looks & feels. It's a pricey seat, but the more I look at it & ride on it I think it was worth every penny!

The chrome forks was already on the bike when I bought it, along with about $1,600 worth of other stuff to it as well. One of the Harley employees's nephew was going to buy my bike. Then his Uncle put on about $2K worth of stuff to it as a surprise-gift to him. After his nephew told his wife about the bike & she threatened to divorce him if he bought it, the bike was back on the floor for sale & waiting for me to become it's owner!
