Clutch change?

RE: Clutch change?
Why not start with just changing the clutch spring from stock to SE? Adds 10% clutch pressure.
It's only $30, which is almost free in HD land, and it should be an easy install, although it's added thickness over stock might require the removal of the primary cover. You might not be able to slip it in the derby cover hole.
