RE: Nash Gimps
Took them almost a month, but worth the wait.Did you get their knurled risers? Unless they have changed things and started knurling them your gonna need to do something to keep them from slipping in therisers.Sounds crazy but I took a good sharp cold chisel and popped some good grooves in the risers and the top clamps. That raised the metal and left some good grooves for the bars to bite on.(redneck knurling)

No wait for me. Believe it or not, they had them at the local Harley Shop in 14's, 16's & 18's. Mine didn't come knurled but I tell you something that will help. Use some screen mesh like you see on windows & doors & cut you a small piece to wrap around the bars. Gives the clamp something to grip to & will keep them from moving around. Hope this helps.

It took over about 2 months for mine in early spring, I don't know if that's there busy time of year but it took for ever. I used a thin rubber strip and wrapped the bars. The only problem with that is my bars are rubber mounted and it always feels like they are moving back and fourth. I think I might try the screen trick.

It only took about a week and half for mine.
The only ones that I have heard of that slip in the risers are the powder coated ones. My chrome ones haven't slipped at all.
Another thing you can do is take some fine grit sandpaper and wrap around the bars at the risers. This will keep them from slipping.
