RE: Paint Set for Dynas
this tank set is shown in the 06 catalog and says it fits fxd and fxdc for 06 but what is going on is in 07 the fxdc has tank console so they were partially correct.IT WILL FIT AN 06 ,but if you told them your bikes year, then, I agree with the others they would be in for a fight [:@]

Thanks to all those so far that have offered some moral support to me on this. I own my own business and I would never treat anyone this way.Bikers work hard for thier money and deserve to be treated like bros, instead of chumps.
Peace,
UW

RE: Paint Set for Dynas
uweldit, I've been an ebayer for many years now. I am not a business and I buy much more than I sell. I've never been screwed but once and that was a long time ago over a baseball card when a non-existent dealer took my 12 bucks and ran. It was not worth the trouble to try and recover it.
However, I do know that both eBay and Paypal (now owned by ebay) both have strong buyer protection policies in place. If you used paypal, I'd start with that. If you used a credit card through paypal, I'm not sure you can file a dispute with the credit card company because, technically, they paid paypal and not your vendor. If the auction listing and/or vendor's eBay store specifically stated "no returns or refunds" then there is probably not much you can do. But, if they didn't say that and you have the emails to back up the promises they made about fitment, you have a case and I would pursue it to the fullest extent before I'd just take a big money hit and let it go. You can also file a complaint with the Attorney General and/or Better Business Bureau in the state that they are doing business in. There are government employees in those offices that are getting paid good money to help consumers with problems like this.
I know your intent in this thread was not to get advice on how to handle the bad deal you got. But, stuff like this gets me and, apparently others, fired up. It's your money, do what you want. But, I think you have a case if things went down like you say.
Oh, by the way, there is also a forum on here to list things for sale. You may want to try and post these items there as well if you haven't already.
