I'm still pissed. Never buy chit from them again. Even the parts manager ADMITTED that they were wrong when I asked them about the fitment.

Can't wait to go to the OK HOG rally in Oct, they are gonna get talked about in the mess hall, I'm gonna spread the word on these dudes...

if you used a credit card. put this in dispute. trust me , it works .

If you used paypal I would file a claim ASAP.

 

If you have an email from them claiming it fit your bike forward it to the manager and threaten a law suit. Not only that but tell them about this forum and that you will spread the word about them being crooks! Not a lot of power there but it might just be enough of a hassle for them that they relent.

 

Other option is to go back to Ebay and buy the parts to make it work. Tank consoles don't usually get damaged in accident so you may be able to find something.

If I were to attempt to install this on an 07 FXDC, this is what I would need to buy (rough list)

New Speedo/w handlebar mount
New fuel pump
New fuel gauge
New Tank console with tank seal and related wiring
Splices, splices, splices
Band aids and lots of Beer

All in all I was looking at over roughly $500.00 in parts to make this work.
