I know our techs are currently confirming 08 fitments. I believe2007fxdc is correct but can't confirm yet.

I also know they're looking into SuperBraces for all 08 models inlcudingthe Fat Bob and the Rocker. Does anybody know any Fat Bob or Rocker owners in the Southern CA area looking for a free SuperBrace? If so, our contact info is customer-service@superbrace.com and 800-322-4783.

Thanks for the info--just ordered one from them. However,a suggesteddealer mentionedin a previous postby Superbrace was the same price ($10 more but free shipping). OneStopMoto's price was $10 less but their shipping was $10 so they were almost the same. I talked to Superbrace and they said most on-line dealers drop ship from them so the merchandise is factory fresh. The main concern I have is will the brace fit chrome sliders since the finish may be slightly thicker than the lacquer finsih. The rep at Superbrace said he had one instance where the chrome caused a problem and if it does, send it back as they have a 30-day return policy. I enjoyed talking to them--really nice people.

 

I'm sure someone will come up with a perfectly logical explanation but I look at these things and wonder....why do they cost so damn much! It's a piece of metal for God's sake! $175.00?

Oh yeah. It's for a Harley. Nevermind.

 

Keep in mind guys the older Dynas had the 39mm fork tubes and narrow width trees.The 06 and later models have the 41mm tubes with mid width trees so they are much more rigid & stable so don't be shocked if you don't see as much improvement as an older Dyna or a Wide Glide would get. JMO.

 

What's the difference between the Superbrace and the Harley one?

 

I hate it when somebody says something really great about something I have been considering adding to my SuperGlide.
Ordered my Superbrace tonight, and should have it next week............ I think I can spare the 10 minutes to install.
