My rear wheel is off center from my rear fender
SO I just got rid of my Ducati and bought a harley. LOVE IT.
I go to take off my rear bags and while removing the braces I realize my wheel is a good 1/4 to 1/2 off center from
the rear fender!
What could be the problem?
It has been riding fine thus far.

RE: My rear wheel is off center from my rear fender
Really? My roommate has a 93 Dyna Wide GLide and his is perfectly lined up...
I am dropping it when my 11 inch shocks come in, will affect it? The left side is pretty damn close
to rubbing.
Big thanks for the post. Was crazy thinking my bike was less then normal.

most are like that... you can fix a bit of it if you're careful... the gap i had, like most others, was on the right side....most times all it requires is backing off the nut that holds the left strut (not really loosening) and directional and tightening the one on the right....that will pull the fender to the right just a bit... don't crank it, though
helped mine, anyway

Check for proper wheel alignment. Here is a link from the tech forum. The Dyna aligment is done in a similar manner.

Do you have the stock wheels? Is there a chance the wrong rear spacers were used from a wheel change?
