Default Question about engine failures

I have done some reading about engine failures on the Harley Davidson EVO - What kind of life can you expect from the motor before having problems - what can be done to get the most life from the motor - I am a new owner of a 2000 ultra with 20k miles.

Default RE: Question about engine failures

Change your oils when called for and you'll be fine....In the words of Ivan Drago"If he dies he dies" People have had issues with small block chevy motors doesn't make them all bad....when some one has an issue they're a lot louder than someone who doesn't....Don't sweat the hype...I put over 50K miles on an evo motor....and a buddy of mine just finished a rebuild on his Dyna with 96,000 miles...he never had a issue with the bike just thought it was time to rebuild the motor
