i just installed my V&H bigshots on my 04 superglide lastnight....i just rode around the block and when i stopped at my house i noticed that there was smoke coming from the end of my pipe!!! anyone know why?...(havent done a download yet...but never heard of smoke)

 

Check yer plugs and see what color they are for good luck.

you also didn't git any oilor grease on them did you.

 

There burning off inside, It'll go away they all do it. Take it for another ride..

 

Like Skip said, your just burning off the residuals from inside the pipe. I wouldn't get to worked up about it.

 

Not to worry - ride it some more and it should go away - yer just breaking those suckers in!

Same thing happened to me when I installed my Cycle Shack slip-ons. Though I think it was all the friggin' WD-40 I used to try to slide those bad boys on...
