Another vote for Amsoil. I have a '96 FXDL. I run 20W50 in the engine, 10W40 in the primary, and 75W90 Gear Oil in the transmission. I also run Amsoil oil filter. Mobil 1 is also very good oil. As for filters stock Harley filters are fine and I also like K&N filters.

HAVE YOU GUYS HEARD ANYTHING BAD ABOUT REDLINE?

 

Good idea to get the service manual, mobile 1 V twin in the engine, redline heavyshock gear oil in the transmission and redline MTL in the primary.
I do my own wrench turning too, I get more satisfaction knowing the job is actually done and done right. And besides i am a cheap bastid.
