I change my own on my 2006 Dyna Street Bob and the instructions didn't call for glue. No glue on mine and no problems for 13,000 miles.

The hand grips on my 2006 FXDBI are held on by the swith housings. Properly torqued the shouldn't budge.

So here it is, 4 hours later....that left grip is rock solid.

I only wish there was more riding season left. Not that there isn't, but it'll be cooler rides, then colder rides until putting her away in the warmth of my basement until the harsh New England weather passes....then before ya know it, it's April: time to get her out into the open air again and get her ready...next thing ya know, it's mid June and time for bike week in Laconia '08!!!

Just want to give a shout out to my bro, Todd (Mac) out in Portland, OR. He is my best friend and my riding buddy until he moved this past July. God bless him, his lovely wife, Jackie, and his Road King....Peace out

First ride yesterday - that grip is rock solid.

I used JB Qwik - I highly recommend it for setting up a troublesome grip.
