I finally put floor boards on my 07 Street Bob. I've only riden about 15 miles so far but I like them. Not sure about the looks but they feel good and that was my goal. Will need to ride some more and fine tune the postion.

I've also left my mid pegs on for more options. I cut about an inch off them so thier short and stubby.

I didnt like the looks when I first put mine on.....I kept my pegs so I could change them back and forth..........7 mos. later Ive never taken them off.....The ride is much more comfortable...way more..................I know youll lovem man...............................LO.............. .......

 

Did you have to register that puppy with the FAA?

Just kidding... they don't look that bad. In fact I don't really think they look bad at all. They're definitely big though. And if they're comfortable who gives a damn what they look like.

 

They look sharp. They must be more comfortable as well.

 

I really want boards on my 07 fxdl but those stick out too far. WTH did HD discontinue the FXDP floor boards? I have seen plenty of guys here wishing they could get them.

I took mine off only once, and put them back on 20 miles later. I'm sold on floorboards.

 

They look good, I'll be over tomorrow to check them out.

I had floor boards on my previous bike and loved them. Alas, I could not bring myself to put them on my Street Bob as I think they look way out of place. I opted to go with the heel rest instead which I have been extremely happy with.

... and yes, I do have a habit of grinding my pegs around corners.
