Does the 2006 Low Rider come with a stock chrome console cover? The pictures on the website and in the 2006 catalog show a chrome console but the parts catalog sells one and says use it to replace the stock black console. Anyone know? I have less than three months until I return home and pick up my bike!

 

It comes black, if you want chrome you have to buy it after the fact.

That's how HD makes even more money after the sale. On my bike I bought the chrome console to replace the stock body color console (in my case black pearl). In fact I never saw my bike with the stock console on it as I had that changed before I even picked it up.

 

My wife bought a 06 Low rider in september It has a chrome dash all the way to the seat, in fact it is sexier than my 05 ultra and faster... time to upgrade the ultra's engine. Her bike is two tone paint I don't know if that made a differece.

The superglide’s is black. The superglide custom’s matches the paint. The lowrider’s is chrome. I’m sure the catalog just has a typo. The lowrider is chromed out. You wont be disappointed.

 

Hmm...well that's not the first time I've been wrong! I knew about the Super Glide and the Custom, but for some reason thought the Low Rider was black. Live and learn.

As stated.....black is stock.

Not sure if some LowRiders come with the chrome console....I don't think so but I do know that a lot of HD dealers add goodies to their bikes before they put them on the floor so it is not impossible to get a bike with add ons which can make one think they came stock......had to add mine of course.....

 

My 06 Low Rider came with more chrome than you can shake a stick at! And, the console is chrome, no added dealer cost for it....just my pennies' worth.....Jim
