Default Lepera Bare Bones Seat on my FXDC pics.

I bought the Lepera Bare bones last week and installed it. I got around to taking some photos for any one who might be interested in this seat. It really slams the bike in my opinion.

I really like the way the seat makes the bike looks lowered, that slammed look.. It actually lowered me an inch or two, which is great.

The seat is not as uncomfortable as I expected. I bought it knowing that it would not be built for comfort, but it's not as bad as some would have you believe imho. The quality of the seat is top notch.

Looks great. Not much padding in there, huh?Now you got to get those reflectors to "fall" off.

I agree, the seat is very well made compared to the other aftermarkets.

Dynarat,

I think it set me back a good inch or 2. The bike now feels more like a low rider.

I really do enjoy the feeling of sitting low and back.

Cheers,

Tom

Dynarat,

All hardware included. One screw and one clamp.
The installation was a breeze.
The hardest part was removing the grab strap from the stock seat. The way its attached is ridiculous if you ask me, you'll see =)

It takes about 15 minutesto...

1: attach the clamp to new seat
2: remove the old seat and strap
3: mount the new seat

The seat was 149.00, I got it from American Classic Motors on ebat.

Here is alink to their auction. They seem to have 3 left.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...70879&rd=1

Good luck.

Cheers,

Tom

Thanks........
Many times in the past, I have added thingsand then looked at it, and it looked like sh--. Then I take it off and do it again.
In this case, I looked at your pictures and said that's what I wanted.
The auction was over, so the $149.00 was gone, but that doesn't matter. The look is right.
I just left Dennis Kirks website and ordered the exact same seat ($170.00) with free shipping. It should be here in 3 working days.
THAT IS a great look.
Thanks again.
