RE: Lepera Bare Bones Seat on my FXDC pics.
I've owned one for several months and its not nearly as comfortable as the stock seat and about the same as my spring seat...if comfort is on your high priority list i would look at something else !!! I can ride about 2 hours before stoping, but everyone is different...

Ok Guys, it came today by UPS - 2 or 3 minutes to install - went for a ride, mostly local.
First off the seat is well designed, well made and fits perfectly. As far as comfort goes, I am not a real big guy (5'8" - 160 lbs) I think it is very confortable and I would not hesitate to ride to Dallas on it - about 240 miles - however, Houston being Houston, we do not have the best maintained streets in this country. A good pothole or a large spot where the street has been patched is pretty uncomfortable when you hit it at 30 - 50 miles per.
But I can't deny that it makes the whole scoot look great. It just changed the whole look of my Dyna. It looks longer and lower. It was a great decision.
It took a few minutes to get use to sitting lower and farther back. It changes the center of gravity and it handles different. I think better, but then I ride too fast and take too many chances anyway.
Thanks to all of you that helped me make up my mind.
I'll take some pics tomorrow or Wednesday.

That is exactly how I felt after I installed it as well.

It looks Great !!!
