Here's the bars I put on my bike. They're 01-05 low rider bars.
Way better then the "wheelbarrow" stock buckhorns.

I just put the Lowrider bars on mine , but preferred them with the pullback risers. Too much lean forward for me without the risers.
Still not 100% happy with these yet.

Good thing I rechecked this post. I never would have gotten to reply. Yes, I had to change out both of the throttle cables, which in turn means adjusting your throttle when you're done. I did get lucky with the bars and cables though. I have a friend who has an '07 Street Bob, and we spent about 10 hours changing out his bars from stock to 16" apes. WHAT A PAIN IN THE ***!!! The next day we were out on a ride, and he wanted me to feel how comfortable his bike was, so we switched bikes for a few miles. Needless to say, I LOVED his bike, and he wouldn't stop complaining how uncomfortable my bike was. On the way home, we stopped by his house, and he says, "You want my stock bars and cables for helpin' me out the other night?" I say, "No charge?" "Nope!" HELL YEAH!", I said. We switched 'em out in about 2-3 hours. There's plenty of factory wiring in there though, so don't worry about that factor. You'll have to adjust the front turn signals too...the easiest part.

Can you tell me if there is enough throttle and clutch cable length if you wished to add risers?

I'm not sure what bike you have but I have an 02 lowrider with the stock bars and I just put 4" straight risers on with no problem with any cables. It came with 4" pullback so the straights only added a little more height.

How many inches would you want to go with the risers? If it's only one inch, I'd say most likely. Not 100% sure though. There is a little slack, but not very much...

I put the Lowrider bars with 4" pullback risers on my 2007 FXDC, and there is still plenty of length in all the cables, and the brake hose still has a bend in it.
I had Street Bob 10" bars on before that, and didnt replace any thing (with standard 2" risers ). Had to bend the brake hose though.
