Default Anniversary tins for Lowrider

I have an 03 lowrider and have put a new tin set on, everyone I know is telling me to keep the anniversary tins because they will be worth money some day.
I am looking at if I sell the tins that gives me more upgrade and chrome money now. The questions are:
1. Should I keep the tins in hope for a payday later?
2. Sell them now and enjoy the bike I have with upgrades and chrome.
3 How much would a set of anniversary tins go for?

It's your bike, do whatever you want. Just keep in mind that you may be kickin' yourself in the *** later that you got rid of the stock tins. However, they sold a bunch of anniversary bikes that year, so it'll be a long time before they are really "rare".

...I spent a lot of time going through swap meets @ Daytona this year pricing Dyna parts - especially tanks. (I bought two - eBay though). '03 (all models) were at LEAST twice / three times the price of other tanks /fenders. '03 Emblems were like gold.
I say, if you can, keep them. It's $$$ in the bank. They are paid for...

I bought the complete set on ebay for $600, but had to have some work done to them. Total I spent about $1300.

I paid 150 and 175 (pretty sure) to the door. Both were in "ready to bolt on" condition. But I planned to doa lot of work on them anyway. I've tracked tanks that went for 250-400+. '03 always get more - black being the preferred.
A good set of "take-off" tins can fetch 500-800 easy - especially tribal or flame tanks.
I like the idea of completely changing the look of the bike (different tins) in a half days time.

If it were me, I'd hold on to the original tins. They're already bought and paid for. Also, I like the new paint on your bike better than the anniversary paint. It seems like everyone and their brother bought bikes that year and I'm sure Harley made a killing.
