This is the solution you are looking for, OP!

I did this mod when 702 pointed it out, last year. Luckily, I already used NoCo chargers and boosters, so this harness works great for both.

Cleanest solution, for sure!

I clicked on the link. I couldn't tell if any of those adapters fit a battery tender. I have not seen the word battery tender. Did control F in the amazon ad and your post.

But if it does fit, a simple Yes would have been a lot quicker

The discussion in this thread seems to be about leaving a permanent connector for jump starting

VETERAN that is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks. And the plus side is the trickle charger adapter. The 8 gauge wire should be able to carry the amps with no problem during a jump start and I wont have to disassemble a bunch of **** to do it. Thanks again

New bikes with bcm this would be handy. Even old bikes it would be quicker.

Looks like you can also get adapters (aftermarket) for SAE & Coax Heated Gear, that would kill 3 birds with one stone. Wiring should be heavy enough to handle at least one set of heated gear.

Sorry but I see a permanent jump start harness as a solution to a non existent problem. I just pull back the rubber boot and clamp onto the terminal on the starter.

Right. Try that on an M8 Softail.

I've never worked on an M8 Softail so that may very well be, but the OP posted in the Dyna forum.

You may be right. if adding a battery tender pigtail, then would be similar, little more money. Lot of what we do, cannot be rationalized. I am in no rush, but it is interesting,
