I took mine off as soon as I got the bike home. I didn't replace it with another badge though.

Many of us have done this. I have the 1959 to 1960 emblem. Do a search on this and you will find all kinds. Just about anything you can imagine.

Twofish, there are a number of different era badges available but I don't have a link to a page showing them all.Quite a few of the HDForums members have some of those options on their Street Bobs and they look great. Your thread will probably fill up with pictures of these in no time, or you could search the forums. Us 06'ers had a decent thread a while back that had a lot of good pictures. Maybe I'm misunderstanding. but I'm not thinking there are any "new" options for the 07's.

As much as I liked a few of the available badges, I decided tobuy some Road King take-offs from eBay. The black (almost a flat black too)background and chrome lettering were a perfect fit for my bike. Sorry I don't have a close-up but here's a picture . .

kpreese Thanks, the “Road King take-offs” looks great.
Much better than the stock nameplate, just what I’m looking for.
Where did you find your battery box black strip?

Really into the Skull thing, so I went with the Night Train tank emblems, If you look really close, they have tiny skulls in the triangle portion of the emblem in the center. They are not in any HD catalog... but are 25.00 each side. You won't be able to see them in the pic, but really cool.

I went with the 59-60 emblem. I like the little flash of red on the black bike. See sig
