One Step Closer To Race Day...

The NHRA rule book states that helmets with a 2015 certification don't expire until January 1st of 2027.
2020 certified helmets will expire 2032.

This is the last I could find.. oh, well. Guess I’ll need a new helmet. Will they accept leather chaps with coat, or does it have to be full?

Perfect, thank you . The best I could do in the 1/4 mile was 117, So by those rule you posted I shouldn't need a suit.. How ever I will call Lebanon Valley to confirm..

You are so close to 120, they may still ask you not to come back unless you have a suit.
If it’s a prepped track, you will have way more hook then the street, my springer came up more then once.
Have some weight over the bars, and leave on yellow.
that track is also NHRA, make sure you get the tank full of 93, but only half full, you will also need a BMX number plate on the tower side along with white shoe polish. Put together a small tool roll, extra plugs etc.

I currently do lean forward to take weight off the rear.. Depending on the rpm coming off the line will determine wheel spin or front end coming up.. But that's on the street, not sure what it'll do at the track.. I'm wondering if I'd be better off going to an 1/8 mile track.. Also It seems when I short shift around 5200 RPM I actually have a lot more torque that'll pick the front end up off the ground in third gear but won't do it at 6,000 RPM.. So I'm wondering if short shifting would be the key.. I guess that's what time trials are for, we'll see...
