My 2001 Harley Davidson dyna wide glide needed a new battery as I needed to jump it when I needed to ride anywhere when I left the yard a few days ago it back fired pretty loud got into a ride not even 5 mins had a steady throttle speed then noticed that the bike lost all power and completely shut down I pulled off the highway took seat off and noticed that the battery seemed to arc out somewhere on the frame I'm assuming as the positive terminal had melted I replaced the battery and spark plugs tried to start bike turned ignition switch and had power to bike but wouldn't roll over or anything. No spark no crank. Checked fuses and they where fine anyone know what could cause the bike not to start in this case as battery and plugs were changed ??

Right hand turning signal light stays on when ignitionis not turned on as well as the right hand in rear tail light
Check your new battery (make sure it's not dead). Pay attention to how the cables attach to the terminals. They have to sit flat, make good contact over a large area, and be tight. Some batteries come with thick brass spacers that fit under the cables to make them sit flat.
