Any idea what these bikes are worth?!!!
This is not a sales ad as I know this isn't the right place for that, although, the bike IS for sale. I've been listing this thing in various places, including here, and it just won't budge! I've come down in price, which I'll admit, may have been a little high to begin with ($8900) but now, everywhere I look I'm well below just about everyone else ($7000) and still, not one serious call, aside from scams. I'm not getting any interest at all.
I don't get it. What am I missing here?! What are these bikes worth?

The economy sucks brother. No one is buying **** these days. Interest rates are sky high, as well as inflation. It's a recession man.
ETA: Your bike is 15 years old. No bank will loan on it. So you need a buyer with cash. No one sitting on that kind of money is buying 15 year old bikes. They buy new.

It don’t seem it but 2009 = 15 year old bike. All the accessories we love them, we need some to make our selves comfortable, but they don’t mean **** for value.
if I was to ask my local independent, he would probably be 3-5 thousand range have cash and be flipping it in a week for more, but they get actual people in the shop not the 100 scammers you get online.
i bought an 2015 Dyna switchback from a major wholesaler locally for 6500.

Blackbook is usually pretty accurate. Even at 7k you're still 2k high. It would sell at a dealership/retail establishment for 5400.

I was going to say around $6,500, but it looks like based on bluebook, it's even lower than I thought as it's been about 2 years since I bought my Dyna.
I have thought about selling my 2015 Dyna Street Bob (a more expensive model than a SGC) for $10k. If someone showed up with $10k tomorrow, they can have it. I can't think of any buyer on earth who would look at my '15 for $10k and even consider paying $8,900 for an '09.

I’m looking right now. I’m patiently waiting till fall, watching and placing 8-9k$ Dynas in ‘saved’ on wife’s FBmp. When they drop to $7k I’ll start reaching out offering $5.5–6k depending on the unit. If you were closer you’d be in the running for sure. I won’t even look at bikes with t-bars, quarter fairings and wheelie seats. Those Dyna bro bikes(SOA clones) are rode hard, end up with wiring nightmares and typically require compensator replacements at 30k miles. I don’t care about blue or black books.$ 5.5k around here is a good deal for an unmolested 07 and up low mile Dyna. As far as buying a new bike ‘cuz I have that kind of money’ is not accurate. Who wants a toy payment and full coverage insurance and dealing with the dealership? Not me.
Stick it out at $7k..someone will want that FXD. It looks awesome. FLDs and fat bobs just aren’t that popular—kinda like a 1964 corvette the bastard model. So you can’t compare.

15 years old Most HD dealers will not work on it. None of the work you did to it added any value that someone is willing to pay for.
When it sells it will be to a cash buyer most likely that will want a discount. Used finance people will not want much to do with it. Financed sale will be based on buyer not the bikes value.
Not what you want to hear. If someone offers $6,500 or more grab the cash hand him the title and run.

Bikes aren't selling like they did when people had cabin fever and covid relief money. All the add on parts don't increase the value to most buyers.
A dealer sold me a 2015 Ultra Limited at Blackbook in October. It had a stage 3 kit, D&D pipe and a bunch of other trinkets. They sold the bike new and had invoices for everything done to it. I still see individuals listing similar bikes for what I paid out the door.
Times are hard and all the cool kids want a M8.
