I still have mine, June will be 10 years. Haven't ridden much over the last few years if I'm honest. Life changes, kids, career, just can't seem to find the time. Can't bring myself to part with it however, I still enjoy the few times I do get to get out and ride.

I stopped riding at night 20 years ago. Lots of accidents in my area with guys trying to get home on the backroads from the bars in the early morning hours.

I miss mine and some days I wish I never traded it in. But to help scratch that itch, I picked up a 03 Low Rider and have been fixing it up over the winter. It's a fun project but I'm still Jonesing for my S. I will get another one eventually.

I've had my 2015 FXDL for just over six years. It had 6,500 miles on it when I bought it. It now has 40,800 miles on it.

Although the stock shocks are great on most roads, I'm wondering about changing them to give a smoother ride on our deteriorating UK back roads. If you have experience of any of the following, I'd value your thoughts:

Bitubu shrouded: https://twsuspensiontech.co.uk/hd050...ider-2014-2017
Bitubu piggy back: https://twsuspensiontech.co.uk/hd050...ow-rider-15-17
Ohlins STX36E: https://www.arhcustom.co.uk/product/...-models-hd-216
Ohlins STX 36D: https://www.arhcustom.co.uk/product/...-models-hd-761
Progressive 430: https://www.hogparts.co.uk/progressi...shocks-p109882

Thanks in advance!

Also interested in this. I've got the progressive 412s maybe? it's whichever set is 1 step down from the 430 and although I noticed a little difference 2 up, it wasn't enough to make it worth the cost IMO. Maybe the 430 is leaps and bounds above mine but I doubt it.

Thanks. That's helpful feedback. Yes, the 412s are the ones just below the 430s.
