my dyna is a calif import 2000 model .
hi im tinker from uk.
i own a 2000 dyna 1450 and today im changing the compensator and starter ring on my clutch basket.
ive owned the bike for a number of years and covered a few miles on her shes called ivy .
so she is lowered and a bit tricked out but the engine is sound i think shes got a few years on her yet .
im 60 next march so we are both getting on a bit.
but i was hoping someone out there can help me.
i removed the battery tray and lost the bolt with holds it to the frame.
where can i get one tried all the regular site no one knows im miles from anywhere living off grid.
so if someone can help .

Got bit by the loose battery terminal today.
Riding into work, couple miles from home it stumbled slightly on acceleration, then a short time later did it again. I pulled over, seemed to idle fine, no unusual noises or anything. Ran fine the rest of the trip until I took the right hand turn onto the street that heads to my shop. It stumbled real bad, and wouldn't accelerate at all until it eventually died. Fortunately I was close enough and it was downhill enough that I bumped it into neutral and coasted into the parking lot. I tried restarting it and it sputtered then just clicked like the starter had low voltage, then the gauges shut off.
First thing I did was pull the battery cover and sure enough the negative bolt was backed halfway out. I installed this battery myself a few months back. Guess I'm adding 'check battery bolts' to my checklist.

@shiftace (or anyone else) can you tell me what size bolts are used to mount the bagger brembo to the forks?
Are they the same M10x1.5-30 like the rear brembo uses??
