Over the years, and still today, people do many things to their bikes that I just don't get, don't like, and you wouldn't be able to pay me to do them to my bike.....

I just think, "Hell, it's their bike. Good for them!"

But for some reason, every time I see a Hypecharger on a bike, I want to scream, "What the hell are you doing???"

Don't know why, but those really rub me the wrong way... They're like fingernails on a chalk board.. (I wonder how many people won't get that reference?)

I can't believe they still sell them and people buy them...

OK, rant over... I'm better now..

The Hypercharger was all the rage in the 90's, like the Mullet. Looking at that made me think of Harley's version. Man... I do miss the 90's.

I get your point. I never much cared for the looks of these either, but at least they're not masquerading as a ram air system.

If you're referring to the "Hypercharger" air cleaner assembly then yes that is considered a "Ram Air" setup.. and honestly the only issue I ever saw about them was that the vacuum butterfly would set up as well as the housing making it difficult to service if not break..

My Switchback is a California model, so it has a charcoal canister hanging off the front.
I found out you can’t install the engine guard without the relocation kit, just moves it out so the U clamps have room. Probably should have disconnected it, but didn’t want any emissions codes or whatever.
One popped up on EBay so I snagged it and the TCMT mustache bar.
