I probably need more disks to experiment with sound and response so I'll look into getting some more, and of course it could use a tune to really get a feel on how it should really perform. Sorry @98hotrodfatboy , when I got back home after testing the setup, the neighbor's lawn people were doing their thing, I'll try and get something this week.

Overall it was fun to resurrect something that was destined for the scrap heap, but just not sure if it was worth the investment, that kit wasn't cheap. I need to play with it more and let the packing burn in before I made my mind up.
god dang it I love that paint scheme!

New Vans grips. Also notice my nifty placement of the pushbuttons

Finally went for a ride today. The new tires, motor mounts, and Sputhe kit fixed all the factory issues.

I already had the RaceTech springs and gold valves along with the GPR steering stabilizer, but now it just handles like a sport bike.

The Brembo brakes are night and day difference.

A good bath and 40 mile ride. Bike much happier with the front worn out motor mount replaced.

Yes, but he is a douche. At the bar all the time, always riding some sort of metric bike with turbo's etc on them. One bike is uglier than the next, but I agree they are probably fast. When he left that afternoon, he had a HD shirt and hat on, by as far as I know he doesn't own a Harley. In fact he talks in the bar about how slow they are, my bike can do this, that etc. You know the guy.

I have tried talking to him, douche.

Thanks, it sure is purdy but needs a good color correction. Previous owner let it sit for years and went to sell it to a dealer but took a dry tshirt to wipe the layer of dust on it and scratched up the clear coat. I was able to smooth most of it out but still needs a buffer treatment.

Went for a 300 mile ride up to Superior and back to the twin Cities this last weekend. Man it is just something else cruising along on 35 through Wisconsin. Lots of old cool signs, fields and trees. I love the parts where you have to slow down going through some of the smaller towns so you get a good look at a different walk of life. Oh and I had a leaky valve stem that my ex-father in law helped me out with haha! It was pretty dang awesome.
