Clutch cable came in today. Now waiting on new oil filter so I can do a 3 plug change while changing the cable out.

 

I wish I was closer and could work with you, I'm in Minnesota. I have a brother in San Marcos though, but he's what my grandfather referred to as a "bro-chanic". Funny after I typed that out, I realize that it has a different meaning in 2024 than my grandfather intended back in the 60's and 70's (one who breaks things, not fixes). I wish he was alive; he'd get a kick out of that.

Got an order of gaskets and bearings in the mail that I need to keep going on my motor swap. Was looking at the motors last night and noticed that the stator plug is different on them (old motor is stock dyna motor, new motor is out of an electra glide, not sure of the year. Service manual says you have to depin the plug to remove the stator so I'm thinking the move here is to use the stator from the new motor and just swap the plug. Anyone have another thought?

 

I like it. It's not a dramatic improvement but I'm happy with it. Better acceleration and I'll be using 6th gear more often.

@98hotrodfatboy Around 2830 rpm at 70. I checked the speedometer against my phone GPS.

 

@Rusty Springs Wow that's pretty low.. primary 34/46 And secondary 30/66?
I'm running 34/46 stock primary and secondary 32/68 with a 170 60R17 rear tire and I'm at 3000 RPM is 70..
