I decided to go with a RamJet rear bracket and 08+ Touring Brembo rear caliper. Parts should be in next week.
I didn't want to mess up the paint. I knew the mock up was gonna take a few tries as I had to shave the transmission housing to accommodate the swingarm. Better safe than crying!
Well I clearanced the transmission for the Brocks swingarm today. Not my best work by any means. I nicked the trapdoor cover but a little bit of flat black touch up paint should do. (Shakes head aggressively) Waiting on motor mounts to show up from revzilla and then I'll assemble it. No point in mounting the swingarm before the motor mount.
Nice work brother! Harley makes engine touch up paint pens that work really nice and keep the texture.

My *** hurts just looking at that thing lol..... but you're absolutely right. $30 is a no brainer if you need a seat.

14" wme's. My legends are leaking bad and I wasn't ever a big fan of them anyway. Fantastic on long stretches of highway but junk in the twisties in my opinion

If it works for you that's all that matters! I've been looking at some stock seats as I want to try upholstering one and adding my own foam to see what I can come up with.
