3M wrapped the front forks. I had them powder coated, and just want to do my best to prevent rock chips:

That looks great, but my mind is struggling with how it's possible to wrap the fork lowers, with all the funny shapes of brake caliper and fender mounts..

Could you offer some kind of how-to instructions? I'm sure a lot of people here would like to do this mod.

Of course. Cruzarmor makes the pre-cut kit. They offer it in clear and gloss black.

I went with gloss black and you can’t even tell it’s there.

Hope this helps.

Great idea on the wrap. I've had good luck using black nail polish to touch up rock chips on gloss black powdercoat. Essie brand nail polish, which my wife and daughter told me is the most high quality.

New clutch cable, primary and transmission oil change, fork oil change, and installed a Viking swingarm bag.

New retire came in today Shinko Stealth 003..170/60zr-17.. Fits beautifully under the fender and hooks very very well.. 😁

Can't wait to try my new homade wheel stand to make it easier to dismount and mount tires..

I’m going to do a chain conversion while I swap out swingarms. 23/53 gearing:

I'm 24/53 and wish I had done a 25 in the primary. In my opinion you're gonna be tacked out at freeway speeds. I guess it depends on how fast you cruise.
