My original dipstick didn't have an advertisement on it. I'm not going to worry about getting the old one back. It's not that big a deal. It's just the fact that they did it without my permission. I'm in the Northern Virginia area, Alexandria to be exact.

Ithink that is a sticker and it should come off without a problem.

I have done all my own work on my WideGlide since I have owned it. When it came time for the 10,000 mile check up I just wanted another set of eyes on it so I broke down and took it to my local dealer. Cost me $295 dollars and honestly don't think they did much.

I would probably find a good indy. You may way to have you brake pads checked/replaced, your fork oil changed and your seals inspected, check any wiring harness for chaffing, your spokes tightened if you have spokes, adjust the clutch & all control levers, etc. The 10K should be a very through check-up and not just a look over and oil change.
