NYC ... Marking them is an idea however as you mentioned being behind the bags makes it rather obscure ... Something like a "Stage 8" lock might be an alternative .... By far the best alternative would be safety wire installed correctly .... Good luck

You’re the first person to mention about the stage 8 . Do they make a pulley bolt kit?

I got some grade 8 bolts and washers from Ace in the correct length and pitch. Used a Sharpie to mark them.

Turns out I need new swing arm , rear rim , pulley and sprocket. Anyone have any parts for sale let me know thanks

Would the dealer have to if the OP specifically had them install the locking plate? Maybe yes, if dealer recommended the plate.

A 17RK does not have pulley bolts.. It has a damper drive system cast directly into the pulley and wheel.

Interesting, I've never really looked at mine, wonder how much of a pain that system will evolve into with some age & miles. Now I have go take a hard look while I've got her up on the lift.

Still the question does stand for the direct mount systems, those washers are pricey but do work in heavy die stamping applications.
