While it's good to show the issue, there are a couple things to note..
HD mechs are typically parts replacers. I'd bet 90% if their work is installing accessories, servicing, and crash repair. I would not depend on them to know much about aftermarket powder coating. FWIW powder coaters powder coat everything. You can't depend on them to know where the PC goes and where it doesn't. I've had a lot of stuff PCed. I typically end up cleaning holes, resurfacing flat surfaces. I can tell them which parts not to coat but still some are covered. If you had the stuff PCed. It's on you..

Some powder coaters do know what they're doing.. When I turned my mini apes into 10-in Buckhorns, I took them to a powder coater and he knew not to coat the knurled areas... They came out great.. AND depending on how much powder coating you've done in your life, most wouldn't know what to and what not to have coated. It sucks to be a learning lesson but that's life I guess..

so it’s ok for you to say shame on me? And calling me snarky ? This happens a lot I noticed and trying to help others out by showing pictures of what caused this issue. I don’t need stupid remarks towards me
