I personally like the Justin 'Basics' Ropers [black] (from a cowboy-like life before Harleys ). They are slip-ons, cost about $60, and are pretty nigh indestructable.

 

Redwing loggers....I can't wear them out....been over 50,000 miles on three differant bikes....1 pair of boots

 

damn has anyone bought some of the products from leatherup? their price's are awesome which gives me some pause on the quality

 

Yep I have a pair of XElement boots from Leatherup. They were just a little smaller than normal but good quality. They also had a pretty thick sole.

 

steel toed, black leather harley boots $105 and very comfortable.

 

I like the Bates as well for hot weather riding. If you don't mind spending a little money, Red Wing makes one of the toughest riding boots on the market. You can get them in either rounded or square toes (I have both. round steel toe for work). They wear lke iron and look great. My last pair was over 10 years old before I retired them- could have been resoled but not de-funked. if you know what I mean.

 

I wear some good ol Danner's, not cheap though, they are comfy and waterproof, went down on the bike wearing'em and only got a slight sprained ankle. Had them for a few years now, I just get'em resole'd when needed.
