Default S100 bike wash

My wife bought me some S100 bike wash for a gift so today I tried it out and as far as I am concerned it is just simple green. It is the same color smells the same too. I have been useing simple green to clean it ever since I got it and when I started useing that S100 today I said it sure looks to be the same thing. So from now on I will only use simple green to clean it with since I can get a gallon bottle of it for almost the same price as the S100. I would also like to say that if you have a black engine get the S100 engine brightener it works great to turn the gray back to black.

I have used the S100 before, my opinion is it is to pricey, I now use Simple Green as well, much, much cheaper..

I mainly use it on the spokes. Don't spray it on when the bike is hot and don't let it dry and make sure you wash it off real good.

I just about out of s100 guess I'll get some simple green now. As far as the engine brightener, s100 is good but I find pig spit to be even better. I get pig spit at the stealer...

Didn't know about the simple green, but, I too agree, S100 doesn't work as advertised!

The S-100 is good stuff but does seem like simple green.

Never used pig spit before. Do you just spray it on and rinse off?

The S100 spray on wash I use comes out as a foam from a spray can.. .. the simple green I remember seeing was dispensed via a spray-on-bottle like a 409 bottle. Does simple green make a spray on canned foam? If so I will switch because as has been mentioned the S100 is pretty pricey and it will leave behind a residue unless its washed off completely.
