If they can’t help you out, I have a brand new Jim’s set that I’ve never used. I don’t remember how big it goes… but if you’re interested let me know

Alright, lifters are here from FuelMoto. Can I just use the same oil that's going in the case to pump them up?

I always do... Some try being tricky using light weight oil so the bleed down faster but what does that save you? A couple minutes? Use what's in your pan...

OK, maybe a dumb question, but, why pump them up if the next step is to force them to bleed down?

Without the oil pressure it's next to impossible (for me at least) to get zero lash on the pushrods before extending them to the correct length.

Little advice on high lift cams and quickie pushrods. I had to cut the upper tubes shorter to keep the pushrod collars from hitting the upper tube making it sound like a lifter tic.. I have a thread around here some where with pictures of the damage.. I measured each one because they were all different, I believe from .250-.370". Easily shortened with a rigid copper pipe cutter..

Just to follow up (and continue to derail this thread - sorry) - they just emailed me back saying they were in production and were about 2 weeks out with availability. Which is fine for my schedule. So no need, but appreciated as always.

Thanks for the tip, I'll check that out when I get all the parts and tools in hand.
