Default Fluid change question

I don't have my manual with me, so a quick fluid change question. I bought my street bob in jan, had fun and put 2500 miles on it in a month. I did the scheduled services and then headed overseas. My bike has been started by friends and ridden occasionally. I will be headed home soon and wondered if I should change all fluids or continue with scheduled maintainence. I know fluid change won't hurt, but wondered if not changing it is a bad idea. Thanks

How long was it setting up? If it was only for about 6 months I wouldn't change out the oil. With a new engine you probably didn't get that much blow by fumes into the crank case to break down the oil in a short period of time. I know when I came back from Iraq I didn't change the oil in mine old bike, I just got on it and rode and damn did it feel good.

I would change all fluids. oil for one breaks down over time, even if you do not site it. oil is cheap .

Change all of the fluids, it's the cheapest insurance you can get. Funny things happen to fluids when the sit. Like did your friends ride long enough to boil any water out of the oil or did they run it around the block barely enough to heat the oil up? If it were me, I'd take the hour or so and $40.00 in parts/fluids to change all of them, if for nothing else thatn peace of mind.
